[ NO DYING FOR STRANGERS, y'all mobage protags gotta chill. ]
I don't require or expect repayment. But if it would put you at ease, you're free to tell me of these magic users you mentioned. I'm interested in learning about the magecraft systems of other worlds.
[ That said, he sighs quietly to himself. ]
My refusal is not due to a lack of abilities or charisma on your end. Nor is it a slight on your crew. It simply would not benefit you to associate too closely with someone like me.
Though I must confess to being rather curious about your 'other half.' I assume you're referring to your other captain.
( STOP.. IT JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENSE... what's living if you can't die for your friends......... )
magecraft? is that what they call it in other worlds... well, everyone back home sort of uses a certain element that pertains to their powers? but my friend io is really good with magic, she can do everything from healing to various light magic! i know a bit of magic too but not in this class, kengo doesn't get too much
( not the wierdest thing she's said so far. )
with that way of thinking you're right, we're meant to benefit each other. you can't get rid of me now. yeah, that's my other half. remember how i said my crew didn't remember me, well in an alternate universe.. he's me but a loser? think if you had a little gremlin or maybe a rat that listened to everything you said because it's whipped. that's him. most of my crew remembered him but it's fine now, they consider us both captains now!
[ Especially considering he's her 'other half'? Maybe she's a little bitter that her crewmates remember him, and not her? He wouldn't blame her for it, if that were the case.
Well, setting aside that, and the potential to give her a big long lecture about the differences between magic and magecraft, and her apparent insistence on eventually winning him over (???), something else catches his attention. ]
I'd like to ask what you mean by 'classes.' I'm familiar with a concept that seems quite similar to what you're describing, but I've never seen it applied to humans before.
[ 'Not in this class' does sound like what a Servant would say about being summoned in a less-than-ideal class container, after all. ]
no no! i care for him as much as i care for myself. he's said the same thing about me.. kind of? he didn't use the term rat but something else. so you could say we just jab at each other every so often.
( they're almost like siblings and everyone knows that siblings hardly see eye to eye on anything. )
we have outfits that we can wear that changes the weapon proficiency we can use. if i wore my elysian outfit, i can only use harps and daggers. i was able to have my kengo outfit and a few others when coming here so with kengo that's only katanas and bows. kinda like that? my other half has his runeslayer get up so he can use magic and a few weapons.

[ The word choice is kind of odd ... ? ]
