There's no way Dazai can afford to give any kind of a prize, he just got here a week ago. I'm at least going to have to front the cost of that, if not judge.

I don't need anything done about it, I just wanted to commiserate. Are any of your fellow writer Servants this disastrous?

Why are you beholden to helping him? You agreed to nothing. It shouldn't matter to you if he's unable to pay the prize for a contest he decided to hold.

[ That aside ... other writer Servants, huh. He's hardly in the position to talk at length about anyone's disposition, but he can say one thing for sure. ]

[It's not like with Dazai, where he was desperate for anyone from home that he'll take it upon himself to look after one of his coworkers he barely talked to. He's friends with Avicebron entirely by choice.]

It pains me to think of you in discomfort when there is something I could do to ease it for you.

I've suffered far worse in the past. Some discomfort is hardly a worth for concern.

[ But, even if it's true, that came out a bit more callous than he planned. So after a pause, there's a weary addendum. ]

I'll look to you if it grows truly unbearable.
